Excellent clinical results of the 4-motion\u00ae knee after the first postoperative year<\/h1>\n

“In the study, 125 patients could be examined after the first postoperative year and the results evaluated. The patients were included in one center and treated with a fully cemented 4-motion\u00ae knee system with a conventional 3\u00b0 tibia and standard inlay,\u201d explains Dr. Jablonski further.<\/p>\n

“No revisions have been made so far. After a service life of 1 year, the clinical performance of the 4-motion\u00ae system can be rated as excellent based on the functional scores Knee Score<\/em> (KS) and Function Score<\/em> (FS). After one year, the corresponding values \u200b\u200bwere an average of 89.7 \u00b1 9.2 points for the Knee Score<\/em> and 89.3 \u00b1 13.7 points for the Function Score<\/em>. According to literature, values \u200b\u200bof more than 80 points prove an excellent result (Dowsey & Choong<\/em>, 2013) .\u201d Jablonski further elaborates on the results of the study.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″]

After just one year, the health development has risen from the mediocre range (60 points) to an excellent result of mostly more than 80 points.<\/p>\n

This is Dr. According to Jablonski, this is promising progress for the 4-motion\u00ae knee system.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn terms of subjective patient satisfaction, around 85% of the patients examined to date are very satisfied or largely satisfied with their knee endoprosthesis after 1 year. The data so far are promising. Heidrun Jablonski. \u201cFor the patients recruited to date, the first 3-year data are expected in early 2022. In addition, further patient recruitment is planned for this year in the current and in two other test centers. In total, the study plans to recruit 260 patients at up to 4 study centers. The 135 other patients will also be able to provide data on the PSA tibia launched last year and the vitamin E-stabilized VEX inlay.
