Prof. Dr. Johanneszeichen, Minden, has been caring for older patients for many years. We talked to him about the special features and what role short-stem care could play in elderly patients in the future.

First short-term results from a prospective observational study on the cemented A2\u00ae short stem<\/h3>\n

The cemented version of the A2\u00ae short shaft has been available since the beginning of 2021. This raises the question: How does it perform in practice? Dr.\u00a0Bertram Regenbrecht, Lilienthal, and his team have now published their first short-term experiences with the shaft – with a focus on the importance of cementing techniques.<\/p>\n
