“Dad, how can you have so much fun at work?” his daughter recently asked him. This explains why Joachim Ge\u00dfner, Sales Director at ARTIQO GmbH, now 65, has many things on his mind, but not retirement.<\/p>\n

What gives him particular joy? Constantly being creative, competing against the “big guys” in a competitive arthroplasty market, and leading a fantastic and experienced team that works independently and with initiative… It’s a lot of things.<\/p>\n

Anyone who knows him knows: You always get the purest Ge\u00dfner. “I don’t separate my personal and business lives. I don’t talk like a ‘salesman.’ This is how many friendships with customers of all generations have developed.”<\/p>\n

Since he started in the arthroplasty field 32 years ago, a lot has changed in the industry. “These days, management is predominantly handled by purchasing groups. We stand out with a modern care concept. We are the only German company that consistently stands for short-stem care.”<\/p>\n

From the very beginning, he was involved in the company’s founding in 2013 as sales manager: “I simply wanted to bring another young company to market,” he says, describing his motivation at the time. ARTIQO has long since proven that a German medium-sized company has a right to exist alongside the large, often American, companies in the endoprosthetics sector, says Joachim Ge\u00dfner: “The momentum was unforeseeable. Today, the milestone of our 10th company anniversary is already behind us. We now look back on 12 years and have the 10th anniversary of the A2 short stem ahead of us next year.”<\/p>\n

Together with Ulrich B\u00fccken and Mario Frank, Joachim Ge\u00dfner intends to continue this success story. As a Rhinelander, he naturally refers to the “triumvirate” when describing the collaborative working relationship within the company’s management.<\/p>\n
