This highest possible rating\u2014based on seven years of clinical performance\u2014demonstrates that the implant consistently delivers convincing clinical results over a medium-term follow-up period. The rating is issued by an independent committee based on validated data and is designed to assist users in comparing and selecting safe implants.<\/p>\n<h3>What does the 7A* rating signify?<\/h3>\n<p>The number in the rating indicates the duration of follow-up for which data is available and has been evaluated; for the cementless A2<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> short stem, this is seven years. The A* rating represents the highest possible ODEP category. Very strict criteria apply to the 7A* rating: for instance, a follow-up cohort of at least 350 patients is required, showing a maximum revision rate of \u22643.6%. For the A2<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> short stem, the probability of failure after seven years is 2.7%, placing it well below the required threshold (Source: EPRD Annual Report 2024).<\/p>\n<h3>Independent assessment for quality and comparability<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;We are delighted with this rating.
