CCG System – the cerclage and stabilization system

according to F. Gundolf

The CCG System was developed by Dr. Ferdinand Gundolf in 1993 in Kufstein, Tyrol. It consists of biocompatible titanium bands with a wide contact surface, which neither constricts the bone nor impairs blood flow. Titanium stabilizers have the ability to primarily stabilize the bone and permanently strengthen it through osseointegration of the rough titanium surface. Since its introduction, the CCG System has established itself impressively internationally in a wide range of indications.

In addition to indications in traumatology, the CCG System has proven particularly effective in hip revision surgery as a blast protection device during rasping of the new implant bed and as a cortical reinforcement. The clinical successes of the last 20 years confirm the biological concept and have made the Gundolf Compression Cerclage System one of the leading cerclage systems.
