We eagerly awaited the EPRD 2022 report, and this year we have every reason to be happy. In the interview with Mario Frank, we summarized the results for you – especially for the A2® short shaft system.
But the A2® success story goes even further. The French orthopedic company SERF and ARTIQO have signed a distribution agreement and are going together.
With the MDR certification, ARTIQO is preparing for the future. In the preparation for the certification, the QM team received strong support from newcomer Lukas Lehmann.
The 16th Endoprosthetics Congress in Berlin is just around the corner – ARTIQO is represented with its own short stem workshop during the congress as part of the industrial exhibition. Visit us at our booth, we look forward to seeing you!

EPRD 2022: The A2® short shaft is ahead again
We eagerly awaited the annual report of the German Endoprosthesis Register (EPRD). It is the seventh report since the register was launched ten years ago. It’s the fifth year of follow-up for our A2® short stem – again with outstanding results.
Distribution agreement with SERF
SERF SAS, a global orthopedic company – part of the MENIX Group – based in Lyon (France) and ARTIQO GmbH are pleased to announce that they have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement effective immediately.
MDR certification – ARTIQO prepares for the future
The changeover from the currently applicable MDD to the new MDR directive is a major challenge for all medical technology companies. ARTIQO has now cleared the first hurdle. Our certification audit according to DIN EN ISO 13485:2021 took place in September.
Own heads ELEC® plus
ARTIQO is now the independent manufacturer of the ELEC® plus ceramic femoral heads. These ball heads are made from the tried and tested Al2O3 / ZrO2 mixed ceramics and have been in our portfolio for years.
