Endoprostheses Register Germany (EPRD) Report 2017 – ARTIQO with top ranking
The current results of the Endoprostheses Register Germany (EPRD) 2017 are now online. For the first time prosthesis systems were documented with their failure probabilities. In cement-free hip replacement, the A2® short shaft in combination with the ANA.NOVA® cup systems achieve a top position. Also in the individual evaluation, the A2® short shank has the lowest probability of failure. In the evaluation of knee endoprostheses, we also occupy one of the top places with the EFK knee system, which has been clinically proven for almost 20 years.

Der EPRD Jahresbericht 2017
Der dritte Jahresbericht des Endoprothesenregisters Deutschland ist im Oktober 2018 veröffentlicht worden. Das EPRD will als unabhängiges nationales Register die Qualität der Hüft- und Knieversorgungen verbessern. Das Register zählt bezogen auf die Fallzahlen – trotz des relativ kurzen Bestehens – schon jetzt zu den weltweit größten Registern. Erstmals wurden in dem Bericht auch die klinischen Ergebnisse von verschiedenen Implantat Systemen innerhalb der ersten ein bis drei Jahre betrachtet. Dabei wurden für die unterschiedlichsten Systeme und Kombinationen prozentuale Ausfallwahrscheinlichkeiten dokumentiert und alphabetisch dargestellt. (Quelle: www.eprd.de)
