Welcome!

ARTIQO Newsletter

Since September 1, 2019 ImplanTec Deutschland GmbH is now called ARTIQO GmbH. After the first weeks of the name change it is time to thank all involved for their excellent work. A tour de force for us and all who have helped and supported us. The newsletter also has a new look and we are looking forward to informing you further with our current company news quickly and compactly via e-mail.

True to our motto “Anatomy as a Standard” we are constantly striving for improvements. One example of this is the introduction of our new “Retrieval Kit”, which enables research into the causes of revisions. In addition, we are pursuing the goal of strengthening the ANA.NOVA®, A2® Short Stem, 4-motion® and Hintermann H3™ product lines on the German market and positioning them even better and more clearly.

All the products and services you are familiar with will be continued and expanded. The good cooperation with ImplanTec Austria as manufacturer of the ANA.NOVA® product line and the CCG® cerclage will of course be maintained.

We are looking forward to your feedback and are happy to receive your wishes and suggestions. Enjoy reading and discovering.

Yours Ulrich Bücken

ARTIQO (formerly ImplanTec Germany) expands its sales and logistics center

ARTIQO celebrated the expansion of the logistics and office complex with a small ceremony. With the processing of meanwhile about 10.000 orders per year ARTIQO has reached its spatial limits and had to expand.

“With the company expansion we now have about 500 m² office space and 700 m² storage space at our disposal”, said ARTIQO managing director Ulrich Bücken in his address to the employees. “My sincere thanks go to all those who have supported and accompanied us on the way so far. With the expansion and modernization we have now created the conditions for further growth in a strongly regulated market environment. In accordance with our claim for our own products in endoprosthetics – “Made in Germany” or “Made in Europe” – only regional companies were involved in the expansion. This has paid off in the quality of the work”.

The mayor of the city of Lüdinghausen, Mr. Richard Borgmann, thanked in his speech for the loyalty and investment in the location and is pleased that ARTIQO as a nationwide operating company is also a figurehead and multiplier for the city.

“Retrieval Kit” enables the Research of Revision Causes

ARTIQO now also offers its customers the possibility to get to the bottom of the cause of implant failure. The results can be incorporated into the development of new products and help to further improve the prostheses of the future.

We are happy to offer you the service of getting to the bottom of the cause of a revision operation. If required, we will gladly provide you with our new “Retrieval Kit”. In addition to coolants, this kit contains sterile containers for holding explant(s) as well as sterile vessels for tissue and synovial fluid samples. This allows you to have the samples transported to us safely and cooled. We then forward them to our laboratory partners for further analysis. The necessary documentation is made possible for you using the forms provided.

If you are interested or have any further questions, please contact our employee Dr. Heidrun Jablonski at heidrun.jablonski@artiqo.de.

Where does ARTIQO?

come from
In the last few days I have often been asked about the change of name from ImplanTec Deutschland to ARTIQO, what this name means”, says Joachim Geßner, sales manager and member of the ARTIQO management.

“ARTIQO comes from Articularis = concerning the joint, but also from ART = art and thus from artificial joint. Both are permissible derivations for us. Likewise ART and IQ = art and intelligent concepts, instruments and services that we offer are desired associations. We are pleased that the change of name has been so positively received and accompanied by you. We assure you that you and your patients will continue to be the focus of our activities.
