18 Jun The 4-motion® knee system can also be instrumented conventionally in the future!
Newsletter June 19, 2024
Welcome!
Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear customers and interested parties,
In the latest issue of our customer newsletter we visit our French neighbors, where the short stem philosophy is on a growth path. We asked what this means for our A2® stem.
As an innovative medical technology company, we continually develop our products. In this newsletter we give you a preview of what we plan to do with the instruments of the 4-motion® knee system.
And then, for a change, it’s also about “exteriors”: In the coming months we will be introducing new labels for our products and new packaging for the A2® short stem. We’ll tell you what it’s all about.
Happy reading!
Yours, Ulrich Bücken

A2® stem on growth course in France
The exclusive sales partnership for the A2® short stem has existed between ARTIQO and the company SERF SAS in Lyon since September 2022. Together with Sylvain Rolland, product manager for hips at SERF, we take a look at the French hip market and want to know one thing above all: How is “our short guy” doing with his neighbors?
4-motion® knee system: Anatomical flexibility – also conventionally instrumented in the future
From the very beginning, ARTIQO has used anatomy as its benchmark. The company is also meeting this high standard in the current development project of the expanded 4-motion® instruments: the anatomical and patient-specific alignment should also be possible with conventional, durable instruments in the first half of 2025.
This time it’s the external values that count
While we usually report on the performance or further development of our products and instruments, today it’s about “exteriors”.
Our labels for all products and the packaging box of the A2® short stem system will change in the coming months. Mario Frank, member of the ARTIQO management and responsible for development, explains what is changing and what lies behind it.
Save the date: Short stem anatomy course on November 9th, 2024
On November 9th, our tried and tested anatomy course will take place in Berlin, Rahel Hirsch Center, BIH/Charité from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
