Successful introduction of the PSA Tibia to the 4-motion® knee
Patient-specific alignment is more than just a buzzword for us. True to our motto “Anatomy as a benchmark”, we consistently pursue this topic in implant design as well.
In order to be able to cover all possibilities of reconstruction, a new tibia component was developed and approved according to the criteria of patient-specific alignment (PSA).
The tibia can now be anatomically planned and inserted in a range of 87° to 90°. Thus, the need for band releases is reduced and only the minimal amount of bone necessary is resected.
For the first time there is now a system that harmonises planning, workflow and implant design for anatomical and patient-adapted reconstruction.
